Today my family and I made a day trip to White Rock, Canada. We enjoyed walking along the sandy beach, exploring the quaint shops along Marine Drive, and eating a delicious seafood meal on the rooftop of The Boathouse Restaurant. Click here for more information about this cute little Canadian town.
For the 4th of July, my brother and I went on a day hike up at Mount Baker. We parked at Heather Meadows and took a short, 2-mile trek around Bagley Lakes. The scenery was beautiful! On the way back home, we stopped for ice cream - I got plantain peach and maple nut! For more information and photos from this hike click here
I went to Marine Park in Bellingham last night to watch the sunset and catch up with some fellow Spanish/Latin-culture loving gals. We had a great time, until we realized that our cars had been locked into the park (which closes at dusk...oops!) Aside from the panic of my car being trapped behind a gate at 11pm with only a cellphone whose battery had died for comfort... I enjoyed good company and an incredible view! Oh, and we WERE finally able to leave btw ;)
I believe in God's grace through Jesus. I love to learn, in a variety of contexts - reading God's Word, interacting with people from diverse backgrounds around the world, and as a student of Linguistics and Foreign Languages at Western Washington University. Pages of My Passport is dedicated to sharing this journey of learning through written and visual content.
