This is water park with many different fountains. Zue and I watched a show displayed with lights on one of the larger fountains - images and videos were projected onto the spraying water. It was so pretty, and unlike anything I had seen before.
This is the coolest marketplace, and one of my favorite places that I have visited so far. It is a long street with old buildings that have been emptied out and made into small shops on the bottom floors, which open out into the street. The upper floors of the buildings have been made into factories where workers with sewing machines create the clothing they later sell. Some buildings have "galerias" - several stores connected that lead down into the basement and sometimes up a floor or two as well. In the center there is a covered food market, with yummy street food. Everything here is so cheap. I loved the immersion into a gritty part of Lima.
Puente de Suspiros
The main attraction here is the "Bridge of Sighs" - where apparently if you hold your breath while walking across, you will have a wish granted. Zue and I tried it, but I had the giggles and burst out laughing halfway through...so, I have a feeling my wish won't come true ;)
